I'm sure that's true, but I've never seen us as "superior." Many of us are trying with everything we have to fight the awful authoritarian WH. *My friends and I are afraid to come to Canada without putting a "we hate him too" sign in our car because we're afraid people will immediately judge us.

We Canadians should plead with our government to help the immigrants that the US ICE agents are so callously imprisoning. Maybe offer them either temporary or permanent residency permits and allow them to get their lives back in order. It would be the humane thing to do.

when I was a kid in the 70's, I went to Germany many summers to be with Grandma. I was NEVER intro'd by name only... it was always 'MtPleasant FROM CANADA' and ppl would kind of lose their minds fawning and asking questions. They LOVED Canada then, and love it now.

I fell in love with Canada at an early age. My Mom was born in Toronto and my teacher Dad had Summer off so we'd drive up there from South Texas & stay for a month. A beautiful country with wonderful people & a great government. Not to mention the 2 Canadian women I fell in love with 40 years apart.
