Like many other things, what comes naturally, such as oranges, is processed and many of the orange juice products have added sugars in them. I simply eat an orange if I need vitamin c and oranges come from many other places around the world. We rarely buy fruit juice anymore because of the sugars.

If you saw the documentary about how they transport Florida orange juice one way and on the return journey they transport chemicals, you would never drink it. I remember the owners of the truck had to scrape the inside of the tank out with razor blades before they could fill it with orange juice.

If you can find Canadian, buy Canadian. If it doesn’t grow here, there are options other than US. If it does not say where it’s from, assume it’s American. Check the label on items carefully. Loblaws and others have been labeling in an ambiguous manner to convince you it is not American.

I'm not sure degree days and insect activity holds true in Florida, but their orange crop has been decimated by Citrus greening caused by an insect for quite a while. Like 90% of it. As climate change continues it might even force Disney to cooler places. A good boycott might make a big difference
