Yes my campus has a swamp in the middle of it. It has herons, turtles, grackles, and alligators. It’s glorious.

University of Louisiana at Lafayette. First time I visited to work with them they told me about the swamp and it was one of the wildest and most memorable places I've ever visited on a client campus.

WAIT are you at Lafayette???? One of my best friends was just hired as an English professor there! She came back from the campus visit and we had a whole discussion about how excellent the campus swamp was and what a mark in their favor
