So a thing I learned this week is that Star Trek premiered in Canada two days before the US so actually I think Star Trek Day should be September 6 👀

but only US had this amazing moment in history where scifi met reality September 17, 1976 what an incredible time to be alive everything seemed so hopeful and possible personal computers ("the trinity") just a year away would change millions of lives (look at young @georgetakei.bsky.social !)
