I love when I think an entry may have been offside and wonder if there’s going to be a review, and then the puck goes out of play or gets cleared so we’ll never know. (Worse when there’s a goal and a review and I feel both vindicated and annoyed.)

I think #1 is growing up watching on crappy old tvs...it conditions you to anticipate where the puck should be because it was so hard to track it in realtime...goal mouth scrums are just the hardest situation for that.

Knowing I can fall asleep watching playoff hockey on tv and I will wake up within minutes before the game winning overtime goal.

number 5 especially messes with me because as an observer I KNOW that there's nothing I can do to influence the action... but you still kind of superstitiously believe you can? but then you're actually 30 seconds behind?!

If you hate realizing you're behind live TV, you would hate being part of our VGK discord channel. Persons at the game in person race to "predict" the goals that others will see in 30-60 seconds at home. We call them the #goalstradomous. 2023 Game 5 SCF was my greatest #goalstradomous night ever.
