I feel like the impulse to say "she wasn't far right" is because she was a trans woman. Unfortunately, there are fascist trans women. She was one of them.

The insidious part is trying to deny her agency, even as a defense mechanism, does just as much damage in othering women. It shouldn't be treated as some rare thing or an anomaly. The vast majority of people have deeply incoherent politics, so why wouldn't she?
