I’ll be honest, I won’t vote for Newsom in the primaries(not that we will have any), but I 100% support he fight against fascism, and if he is the nominee I will hold my nose and vote for him, because that’s who the party that most aligns with my politics chose. I don’t engage in purity politics.
We can protect trans people and homeless people better in a government that respects the basic rules of democracy. We need to make it through 26 and try to salvage whatever we can and not let this country fall further into fascism.
Somehow the universe saw me worthy enough to make me the parent of a trans and an enby child. We have to win this war on democracy so that we can get back to fighting our other battles, that’s all that matters to me now.
Keep fighting for your kids! My mom is the mother of me, a lesbian, and my gender fluid sibling. Shes fighting the same fight you are. I know your kids appreciate you fighting for them more than they could possibly put into words. ❤️
