Talked to the vet again - he said Pixie's prognosis wasn't good enough to get assistance w/ the surgery. He said even w/ the resources of a vet, he would choose to euthanize. Yes, I absolutely asked him that tough question. I NEEDED to know if it was Worth putting her through the pain while I tried

This is the most terrible of moments for a pet parent. Been where you are. You’re so right to think of her quality of life above your own need to keep her with you. Wishing you peace of mind and heart as you go through this.
Pixel the Mighty was an amazing cat. My baby kitten of 20lbs. I adored her & she, I know loved me. She also loved head butts, or kisses as we called them & licking the sticky part of tape.. I'm going to miss her more than I can say. 🥺🥺🥺🥺😭😭😭😭
