It's just horrible what happened 😔 I watched this tRump-glorifying news conference w/the puppy killer Noem & human trafficker Abbott et al. They had no satisfying answer as to why there weren't ALERT systems in that area ... since "it's the US most dangerous river valley & flooding all the time."

Not surprising unfortunately because you'd sooner have them drink a tank of diesel and swallow a lit match than admit that this catastrophe is their fault.
