Trump firing Vance would be an incredibly amusing development.
Trump firing Vance would be an incredibly amusing development.
That would definitely put a wrench in the gears.
He absolutely cannot do that, constitutionally speaking. So yes, incredibly amusing, as he'd try anyway.
He also can't currently be President according to the 14th amendment but here we are.
And we sure as hell don’t want Johnson. Truly frightening to think that muppet is third in line
Apologies to Muppets and to the late Jim Henson
Yeah, we don't want anything to happen until Jeffries becomes Speaker.
Just picture the Johnson presidency
That would be amusing! Has a president ever replaced their VP?(Even after only after 6-7 months?) He DID say he can do anything he wants because he's president of the United States. 🙄🤮
I don't think they can. Vice Presidents are elected, unlike Cabinet secretaries, etc.
I'm sure you're right. That doesn't stop Trump though. 😂 He's quite a rebellious & tyrannical "above the law" leader. NO RULES BUT HIS RULES! I honestly don't think it will happen unless Trump feels he is being VERY disloyal. Basically, it was a joke. 😋
Likely true. But there hasn’t stopped him from firing a bunch of other people he has no Constitutional right to fire either.
Trump would say he has the power. It's seems almost like everything he's done is unconstitutional.
I want Vance to stay where he is. Have you seen that guy talk? No way in hell he can get the GOP aligned on anything.
but but "he can't do that" !!
He can’t fire JD, but he can let him do nothing except preside over the Senate & in his spare time, inventory the DoD’s paper clips.
That is correct. Vance would have to be impeached for something to be removed. The VP is technically and elected official.
But would Vance resign if Trump told him to?
LOL I'd love to see Trump try to fire Vance, transforming Vance into the hero we all didn't want or need
