Our family of four has one vehicle but we don't need it for most trips. We can walk, bike, or take transit most places we need to go.

And….. do other families have different circumstances? Does what you are able to do mean everyone else should be able to do the same. It is exactly statements like this that can cut both ways for gaining or losing support.

When did I write no one should drive? If you choose to drive, fine. But choosing a different mode, even for 1-2 trips, means less traffic. There isn't enough space for everyone to drive/park Also, yes. Everyone should be able to get around the city wo a car. Whether they can is another question

I am trying to get you all to improve your presentations. And to get together with the higher density/infill folks for a coherent message. Right now the public sees you as the same people, but you are actually in conflict. And both groups ignore the needs of people already there.
