I've just sat through a This Morning interview listening to Jill tell her awful tale of losing Β£120,000 after her late husband invested in a 'crypto trader' scam using my face as the bait. Its devastating to hear, and leaves me fuming. This should've been stopped years ago.

I can't believe I'm still reporting ads on Google and elsewhere that are pretending to be you. It's so easy to automate. Not just that but it's easy to verify advertisers identity and ban them - but that would be less revenue for "do no evil" (yeah they dropped that) Google!

I've reported a couple of scam ads on Facebook using an AI generated you. They did take down the ones of you but not of other famous people

I recently reported a YouTube Ad that had Keir Starmer pushing a dodgy investment scheme. Apparently it didn't break any of their rules

It’s just a matter of time before all crypto investments fail. Why are widows investing in crypto?

Maybe if the platforms that allow this sort of impersonation were made liable for compensating the victims they would start to self-regulate? (yeah, I know, unlikely)
