It’s not just that. I was very depressed around age 21-22. I know, right when you’re supposed to be happiest. That’s what made it harder? Meds and therapy got me through it. But the “be a tough guy and battle through it?” Yeah, that kills people. One of many utterly heartless things they’ve done.

I’m sorry you went through that, and yay for letting meds and therapy help. As I high school teacher, I saw too many teens suffering for too long. A few of the boys made the worst of all possible moves because of access to their fathers’ guns.
