Didn't take any pics thru this last night, just visual. Saw M27, M57, M11, M3, M13, M2, NGC7331, Neptune & Triton, Saturn, and a bunch of other other stuff. Wish I had one in my backyard.

what was neptune's color like if it was discernible?

On the teal side but definitely blue. We looked at around 600x mag so it looked spherical. Triton looked like a fuzzy white dot next to it. I need to go on a non-busy night. Then I can stick a camera in there. New moon and clear Friday nights usually bring a lot of observers to the field.

It’s just that with new observations it’s been revealed that’s it’s more teal and green than blue so was wondering how much of that can be picked up with our sight..as it’s now more similar to Uranus than blue Neptune that we’ve seen pics of all along
