I'm going to hazard a guess that MAGA folk will sound a lot like post-war Germans. Just a guess.

Wouldn't put it past them to look back on this time as the time when "America was Great". Like that wonderful time when you've fallen off the cliff, but haven't yet hit the bottom. "I'm free! I'm flying!".
