Wrestling is the ultimate audience participation. Not only are the wrestlers trying to evoke a feeling from the audience, but they're watching their reactions and changing what they do and the pace of their own actions based on that. A back and forth you just don't get in other media, and all...
...performed by world class stunt fighters on the fly, while keeping to a predetermined outcome and time limit (sometimes going as long as an hour). As a fan, it's fun. But even if I didn't enjoy it, it's fascinating how they do this.
So, that’s a rambling way of saying I’ve mostly watched older stuff, I have watched individual matches of Rhea because I’m too gay not to. But from the little modern stuff I’ve seen I really like AEW. Also I saw an episode of WWE Unreal and wanna watch more.

I second GLOW, it's one of my favorite shows. It's funny, dramatic, has heart, and it's a peek behind the curtain of the televised sports industry (wrestling, specifically).
Toni Storm is really popular right now and is doing a whole old Hollywood movie star bit that’s really fantastic. Lots of great references! I got into AEW in college because my husband and his roommate would watch and I eventually got hooked on the theatrics. It’s really great
From a stage management perspective, I love watching the way they produce matches while in them. Their improv skills are so impressive. The character work is well thought out and there’s so much respect for their craft. It’s truly artful to watch them riff off each other and the crowd
