Why did Tarantino depict the guy as calm and fearless before they beat him to death? Why not depict brownshirt thugs vandalizing a Jewish shop and then the Jew Bear kills somebody who you know deserved it even if you didn’t know what Nazis were?

I've recently thought back to a lot of fictional works I've read or watched where the heroes kill slavers nearly on sight, and I feel like we're heading towards this in reality... ... And I have no sympathy to give when it happens. I'm not sorry for not caring about people committing atrocities.

Likewise, I've always been against capital punishment, but I'm suspending that belief if the people decide it in the Nuremberg-like trials that will come in the post-Trump era. Nazi sympathy is for fucking idiots.
