Having Corbyn followed by Starmer, you have to start to consider the party's problems may run deeper than the leadership. Whatever you think of Blair, he would have driven Reform into the sea long ago.

Is that what I said? But Blair understood politics enough to know that "coopt your opponents' crappiest positions in order to alienate your own followers" is not a winning strategy.

Starmer doesn’t need the tactics of a war criminal to alienate his own ‘followers’ (but culty no?), he told the left of the party where the door was and he can choke on that the rest of his premiership
