The way it’s going, all there will ever be in space is tourism for the mega-rich. No scientific research, no “trips to Mars” (for a century or so). It’s not advancement, just an ostentatious display of wealth and a lack of awareness of anyone not as rich as they.

My students (seniors, all female school) kept talking about how DISGUSTING this is--especially the inequality and environmental issues involved with this vanity show. One of them said--it makes a mockery of women who are REAL scientists and aerospace engineers--their education and training.

The lady flight was just an exhibition of too much wealth being wasted by rich, over the top females. This did nothing for women at all!
