I think “our party will take care of career/legal bumps that come your way if you oppose the bad guys [insert preferred legal caveats here] ” would maybe do enough to seal it. Yes you’ll have weirdos try to take advantage, but overall it’d be huge. “They take care of their own (J6) and so will we.”
