I think even if it is targeting on the basis of race, that's speculative at this point and imo at most the reason they picked her first of the Dem appointed fed members. In any case, emphasizing it distracts from the main issue, which is politicization of the fed
“politicization of the fed” is not a reason anybody will care, not even the market gives a shit about that media will just point at random dem statements from the past to say this is morally the same

At the very least, at least say "trump is doing this so he can cause more inflation to juice the economy" somewhere, you need to give people a reason to care
Ilhan Omar posted a similar message so the left flank knows why this is bad the Jeffries post might entirely be because he’s from an ethnic machine and therefore this is the motivational frame his office understands best
The thing is he's no longer the leader of the Brooklyn machine, he's the leader of the overall democratic party which needs to win elections by appealing to White and Hispanic voters who are less racially motivated (the more racially motivated white voters vote GOP)
I don’t think that registers for him, it’s probably why he hasn’t endorsed Mamdani (the DSA is the fatal threat to the Brooklyn machine)
also the machine Dem does not talk about why this is bad because I bet nobody in the office understands why this is bad, that’s not how you advance in a machine or get hired by a machine politician
