Ehhhh I mean that's mostly an argument against using <50% regret rates as evidence that surgeries are bad. Most "regret" comes from people feeling like the surgery didn't help, but that doesn't mean it's not worth a shot
but “regret” is now an established argument to ban medical procedures, might as well go all the way (or they could recant and say even introducing that concept to the public sphere was a bad idea)
