For every 1,000 real people they contact, a percentage (not sure what that is) will fall for their scams. It’s ultimately about money and how much they can steal from innocent parties. Avoid them like the plague.
I understand. Just always curious what the specific scam is. I've had the creator of Twitter want to help me with investments, "Bonnie Raitt" wanted to give me money, "Angelina Jolie" is currently asking me to meet her on WhatsApp. Its sad that these folks are impersonating real folks.
Ignore them.
