I loath insurance companies with all my heart, but this is not good. Don’t celebrate outright murder.

Insurance companies kill tens of thousands of people every year and cause suffering for countless more all when they are their most vulnerable. No... Of course we should not celebrate anyone's murder but sure don't feel bad.
Military Companies products kill ten of thousands of people every year...sugar candy and tabacoo industry kill people...lets take law in our own hands and judge them all to death penalty...is that your point?
If anyone else killed as many people a death sentence wouldn't even be in question. A pen is far more deadly than a gun... THAT is my point.
I don't know about personal guilt of the victim.. But Mr. Magione took his justice in personal hands..and thats against the law in every law system i know except vendetta law systems...and thats because its morally wrong
Sure ... Absolutely... but the reality is that the system is literally set up to make it impossible to ever make a difference in any other way. No protest would matter... Media and legal are behind them. They created their own monster... Not my job to mourn their karma.
Well i fear more violence for different reasons will come to US...from self proclaimed fighters of freedom but also from more opressive state...its some asymetrical and hybrif civil war going on rn in western democracies
Things have definitely changed... Not claiming in a good way by any means but something feels very different. Does it not?
Philosopher Popper once wrote (in the 70ies) about US Citizens they are not immune against tyranny...for they knew only freedom for so many years and have no way to recognize the enemies of freedom
Unfortunately, I think many of us do recognize what is happening but never expected to see so many cheer for it. Seems like everyone feels a sort of impending doom. I think the reaction to this shooting is a reflection of this but also the frustration and pain they have caused.
Sounds like Mafia law to me
If you're going to talk about the law, talk about how it has been rigged in favor of the rich, so that corporate profiteers like that CEO never face justice when they kill people for the sake of pure greed.
Not celebrating - trying to establish the real prevailing social sentiment. It clearly is not a simple question.
Your image you lead with glorifies a murderer Distancing yourself from it with light humor doesn't reduce the effect There is nothing serious about laughing that murder is a good way to make a point
without insurance my pacemaker would have cost over 50k. It cost 2k. Insane but much better than 50k My son also needed one and the two together would have been rediculous The birth of my child would have cost 100k but was just a couple thousand Insurance pays for healthcare
The insurance process sucks Individual CEOs are not the problem One segment is not the problem Today RINO maga party says gov only makes things worse and that private systems are the only way. All regulation is bad Unless that fundamental view by half our leadership is fixed nothing will change
The idea of paying for an insuarrance is not an unfair system..but the way it is in modern USA is ridiculous...i am german..living from wellfare payments and have free healthcare....so a general healthcare for all is possible....we have it for nearly 70 ys now
Here lies the problem. It doesn't "cost" $50K - that is the "price" they demand. You can get the same pacemaker implanted at $2-3K in Europe at FULL price, for insured Europeans at $0 cost. www.medonet.pl/zdrowie,rozr....
And that is not an insurance company problem. Insurance companies negotiate a lower price and then we pay our copay or deductible toward that price. Also USA system pays for research other countries do not System is messed up My point is that the changes to make in USA are not small or simple.
No…you are actually celebrating it and not so subtly promoting further violence.
That is your perception that you're trying to impose on me. Not my intention.
Impose on you? You posted a meme of Mangione as if he is St. Francis of Assisi.
whatever your intention...even questioning the moral law that Self justice is wrong is a bad move in discourse
What the CEO did was also murder, but on a much larger scale.
