Prairie dog (absolutely do not keep a prairie dog as a pet btw)

Really! Had to google it. They look adorable! Dare I ask why they’re not suitable as pets?

From personal experience, I had one as a child and she was not a happy pet. I once read a list of the top ten animals not to keep as pets that listed prairie dogs three times.

An extremely adorable sight, at the outdoor part of the Desert Museum outside Tucson, is a puddle of prairie dogs napping together, some of them tummy-side-up.
