Fair enough, I confess I actually completely missed that! I am guilty of presuming he's usually 100% sound. In fairness he didn't quite attempt to "both-sides" genocide and he has been unequivocally supportive since, but now I do understand why you might have been suspicious.
This is why I like BlueSky. We can actually have real conversations. I should have been more thoughtful before jumping on BB.
And I was perhaps overly quick to be defensive of him beause he is one of the relatively few Big Old Lefties who has been really loud about trans rights ad I really appreciate that about him!
