Thatβs interesting, donβt recognize at all! π€ͺπ
Nicotiana alata (jasmine tobacco). Native to South America. Has an intoxicating fragrance that attracts nighttime pollinators like moths.

Here are some Padreβs Shooting Stars at Henry Coe State Park last weekend

If you see this quote with flowers from your gallery. πΏ #nativeplants This is my photo of wildflowers on Skyline Trail in that most beautiful of places, Mt. Rainier NP.
ππ Monkeyflower?
If I even think about Monkeyflower Iβm transported to my favorite place (Van Duzen River) doing my favorite thing: dog boat train. Indulge me.
What a pretty spot and flower! πππ
Sure looks like it, but not 100% sure tbh.
Erythranthe lewisii was my guess.

Thanks! This is unfortunately Gorse dlnr.hawaii.gov/hisc/info/in...
That's rampant along some coastal areas of Oregon. It's beautiful those giant spines ruin it! Who needed moats around old Scottish castles when there was Gorse π
Boo! That took the pretty right out of it!
Iβve found that on Maui in the forest near Makawao. Iβd never seen it before yet was 99% sure on sight, then 100% sure after I touched it. π€ͺ
Lyreleaf sage and crowpoison?
Prairie larkspur and sand lily
Must be more west of me then
We see these two a lot here, especially the second one. π
You can see how easy it'd be for me to confuse the two with what are common here in the south
Those are great, first Iβve seen of them!π
They're found in the southeastern US
I think that is the only larkspur Iβve seen with the white. Probably up near steamboat near the cool artic gentians. Sand lilyβs are a spring backyard favorite.
ππArctic gentian are found throughout our alpine I think, though they donβt start blooming till the end of July.
Twist my arm to spend summer in the alpine investigating this theory.
