one cut of the dead. man what a clever little movie
thoroughly enjoyed it. just a great movie. takes me back to when i was briefly involved in making movies. wish i stuck with it sometiems
Without saying too much, it’s such a ballsy move to make the first half of your movie THAT and trust that the audience will stick with you for the payoff. Such a fun surprise.
made me a little emotional which i was not expecting
Saw this at the JICC in DC last year. Went in blind and the movie blew me away. I expected a one shot zombie movie but found a love letter to film making.
I love that movie so much! We went into it totally blind, it was a blast. The French remake is… passable, but not nearly as charming.
It's good!!
showed it to my mom and compared it to the "Nightmare Inn" episode of Frasier, was so glad she stuck with it through the first half hour of "When did you say this starts being like Frasier?"
Love that flick
One of a few movies I watched again within a week of first seeing it
same
One of my fav movie endings ever
Just watched it the other day. I thought I knew what the thing about it was, but I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't just that thing, and the next part of the thing was even better. Super fun and cute. (Extremely expert complex coded language used here to avoid spoiling for others.)
Have you ever seen the monologue Joe Bob Briggs did after he screened it?
no, do you have a link
Here it is
so much fun! i liked the way they played with the narrative style
Such a good film. I saw it around the same time as Beyond The Infinite Two Minutes which occupies a similar space in my head for some reason.
It's like a zombie *Noises Off*.
