It's a message for Putin that Trump has done what has been asked of him. Now he wants Putin to do his part. But it didn't work out in Alaska. Putin kept demanding what Trump knew Zelenskyy would not & could not accept. If Trump wasn't an admirer of Putin, he would have removed the limitation.

Putin's latest offensive seems to be petering out. The economy is tanking & they can't protect their valuable resources from a hundred or more daily drones from Ukraine. I would say that the Ukrainians are on their way to closing the window to negotiation. Soon they'll only accept full withdrawal.
