That’s possibly true, though I learned the most about English grammar while studying German in high school. I’m somewhat autistic, so learning rules instead of being forced to puzzle them out, is always going to work better for me.

Well that also makes a lot of sense given English's Germanic roots. In general hilarities, my maiden name is Metzger (German for butcher) my mother's maiden name Resnick (Russian for butcher).
