(If you think this is really dumb and short-sighted on the part of the Israelis, that's because it is! What, exactly, is supposed to happen when all the Jews live in Israel is never actually spelled out, nor how a world with widespread antisemitism is in Israel's long-term interests.)
Their answer to that is ‘we have nukes’
Nukes don't do much against a trade embargo or sanctions - and they also are useless against another nuclear power that has ICBMs on the other side of the world.
And, hey, maybe the remnants of Mossad might sneak a nuke into, say, New York or Washington, after the fundamentalist government of the Christian States of America nukes Israel, but the people in control of that theocracy - which the Israelis are helping bring into being - would *like* that.
