"I wonder what IKEA is like today!" He says π π
"I wonder what IKEA is like today!" He says π π
Don't even THINK about it.
I said "omg absolutely not". Now we're playing the license plate game
Iβm starting to think he enjoys chaos and long, long lines.
We drove past Costco.. "do you think Costco is busy? It can't be that bad, I see a singular parking space available"
"Why don't you go find out? Have fun!"
"Godspeed!"
Nooooo!
No freakin way
Do you need me to pick you up while he gives in to the madness?
Yes please. "Oh yeah, the kids are doing back to school shopping too!"
He's cute in his cluelessness.
Luckily π
I suspect it would be a great place to practice patience. π
I don't wanna π
Lol. I bet it would be tonnes of fun!
I need a couple things but it can damn well wait 'til the students are settled in. Godspeed!
Oh I refused to go in π There is nothing there that is worth wading through the sea of new wide-eyed university students
Why tho
"I just wanna see!" I do not. We didn't go in? I'm pretty sure he's killing time until I get hungry enough to go for lunch tbh
If I made it all the way there I'd at least have to go get a cinnamon roll and coffee. I mean, I'd wait in the car and make him go in. π
Proper way to do it π but I'd like to add 2 hotdogs to my order please
I usually get the polish sausage at Costco. Or the veggie dog at Ikea.
The polish sausage instead of the hot dog? I've never tried it! The Costco chocolate cookies are delightful though
Itβs the same price as the hot dog! I have no idea how. I really want to try the ridiculous cookie!
Ooh, I might have to try it next time! The cookies are kept in the pizza case so they're all warm and gooey π
The fact that they print the calorie count on the menu makes me second guess the cookie every time. I want the cookie, I just donβt want to know that each cookie has 9million calories, okay Costco?
I've never had them there. When I go I usually enter near the food place on the first floor, get my coffee and cinnamon roll, then chill for a few minutes at one of the tables before shopping.
That's such a good call. Gotta be fueled to get around the marathon length of a store
Yeah but unless I'm taking someone there for the first time, I just go get what I need. I don't do the full store anymore.
I was very relieved when I found all the short cuts.
My friend moved her daughter into Kingβs yesterday and her verdict on IKEA was βit was mental. MENTAL.β
I avoided that place for a month or two after it opened.
I even still avoid it on weekends if it all possible
Itβs definitely a no go zone for the month of September.
I believe it π«£
Dare you to line up for food.
Do Costco next.
Why do you hate me π₯Ί
You know he's going to suggest it
He already drove by and said "it can't be THAT busy, I even see a singular parking space available! We may as well go, we probably need a few things" The sound that came out of me was closer to a cackle, than anything else.
What did you do to wrong him?
The list is probably endless. But I haven't seen evidence of said list so.. nothing? Beats me.
