Interesting. I remember reading a book about it when I was fairly young, I'd find that interesting (even without the money pit tour). Did you enjoy it?

It was good! The tour guide was not monotonous, very good to listen to. My boyfriend had watched a lot of the show so it was actually his birthday present. They showed us the money pit, but they were very strict on no photos

We did a tour of the Grand Canyon from our hotel in Phoenix in July, it was similar. The four hour drive could have been awful but it wasn't. The guide really makes it if you have a good one.
