I wouldn't mind learning something more physical/3D than just drawing/painting. I was pretty crafty as a kid. I wouldn't mind learning how to throw a pot or do stained glass or carve wood. But those all seem hard, so maybe felt/fabric art? #kidlitart

I’d love to do all those things too! I used to do a lot more crafty type stuff, but have had to reduce the amount of things I do since being a mom with a career. #kidlitart

Those will probably end up being my empty-nester hobbies...in 11 years when my youngest graduates. Maybe sooner if she does the whole locking-herself-in-her-room thing. #kidlitart

It's not so much that it's hard it's more if your lifestyle doesn't build on it. Peeps who work in mechanical and industrial work are often good at that. But if you use computers a lot say your brain is more trained around the 2D cursor-like nature of pencil and brushes. It helps to build skills.
