They're grasping at straws. Incoherent rage and thirst for witchhunts. They've always been looking for an excuse.

It is their perception of some sort of moral terrorism and Republicans love to feel frightened.

And use that supposed fear to justify atrocities. It's the moral panic button far right extremists always use.
