My wife talks about wanting to go back there after visiting there a few years ago, not Yellowstone, Vegas, Smokies, or Grand Canyon. Truely a special place.

Beautiful scenery; we hiked quite a bit of it. For me, that's the wrong music, though. Zion for me is a Bach toccata & fugue. You need the deep tones of a big organ in a big cathedral, trembling out of the stone.

Zion is a beautiful Park. And just outside on the West entrance was[is still?] a beautiful Pecan tree that I was able to get a nice bagful of them late September. Also, on the East side of it are some absolutely beautiful Aspen stands with many of then turning a beautiful RED in Autumn.

My Grandparents used to live in Arizona while we lived in Idaho. On road trips to visit, we would drive through Zion. Beautiful park.

Family lives in Hurricane, the town you go through to get to Zions. There is a lot of non-Mormons in this state. We don’t have a problem with them. We enjoy what this states beauty has to offer. You can go from So Utah red desert to the Mountains up North to ski. You can find your tribe here.

That's what I noticed when travelling overseas. The world has SCENERY. Australia is about as scenic as a 1950s linoleum countertop...but flatter.

So you've not been to the Blue Mountains, the Kimberly, the Glasshouse range or the Atherton Table Lands? You haven't seen the Bungle bungle? The Great Ocean Road? Scenery doesn't have to be tall.

I've been to all those places, and I've lived in a couple of them (the tablelands and the sunny coast). Pretty? sure. Breathtaking? meh

The only place, and I mean the only place, in this wide brown land, that took my breath away was the Valley of the Winds at Kata Tjuta. And I think that wasn't even the scenery so much, although it is spectacular, as the ancient spirituality of the place. Highly recommended

It's indescribable. It's probably one of the most astonishingly profound places on Earth. It'll change you. Uluru is also spectacular, but away from the tourist bus area. The best way is for a local traditional landowner to give a guided tour around the rock.

Was the first Southwestern National Park I visited; over the years hiked it pretty thoroughly; understand Indigenous peoples' view of certain rock formations. Varied ecosystems within this magnificent nation treasure.

We drove through Utah when we moved to AZ. It’s a gorgeous state.

Utah is beautiful, the only problem with the state are the Mormons.

Camped at Zion before we had kids. Woke up in the middle of the night in a huge field full of grazing elk just outside our tent. We need to protect our Nt'l Parks from the GOP, Dump and mining.

Everything is beautiful except the name. Its original name was Mukuntuweap National Monument, designated in 1909 by President Taft. The original name was in Paiute, but radical mormon settlers wanted it changed.

I have been amazed by the number of hummingbirds across the desert. To hear them flyby I would swear that a mini drone just passed. To watch one fly into camp to hover a ft from my face brings me such joy.

These are 13 years old, Bryce Canyon, and some guy at a gas station told us to check out the pink sands dunes. Zion was amazing, and these were just as impressive.

Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park (what a mouthful) is one of my favorite places ever!! I first visited when I was 11, but got to take my wife and our dogs a few years ago :) our dogs loved running up and down the dunes 😂

I prefer Bryce Canyon, Capitol Reef, and Arches to Zion.

Beautiful! We rode our cycles there in 2014 and three big horn sheep jumped down an embankment in front of us. Thankfully we saw them in time to slow down and enjoy the moment.
