Meaning some people may equate the thuggish lawlessness of "j6ers" and the thuggish modus operandi of ICE and create conspiracies to connect the two. Probably lowers ICE morale to be linked in some Americans' minds to people who attacked federal agents, since they themselves are federal agents.

You're welcome! By the way, as you speak to tons of 'j6ers', have any said why they think trump pardoned them? (Like because he supposed they'd learned their lesson, or the whole lot of them had been exemplary prisoners and changed their ways? Because they showed remorse? or what?)

So no wonder that some people assume they are now doing other thuggish acts for him, since that's why he let them out. It could explain why some people see a circumstantial link between ICE masked people snatching presumed immigrants for trump and unknown anonymous snatchers doing likewise.

Right, I was never confused about why people believe a dumb conspiracy.

Oh. I thought your orig. Q. was "can someone explain why ...", I thought you meant, why some people believe "j6ers' are working for ICE, wondering what they'd have to gain from it anyway, and what they'd do with the people after they grabbed them. So, right answers, wrong question.
