If a person showed up at the Capitol that day and didn’t go into the Capitol, I still call them J6ers because they have the thug mentality to be doing this.

So you are suggesting that ICE is specifically recruiting people who were present on J6 but who didn't bother to do any violence or go inside the Capitol at all? Ok.

I’m suggesting that people who have the grievances, attended the J6 rally but stopped short of violence/going into Capitol which were many, could apply for ICE jobs because it is a “legit” way to act on their grievances. ICE just has to post jobs and these thugs have the profile/desire to apply

Why I care? These people are easily manipulated (Big Lie) and made the effort get to DC on J6 so applying to ICE would give them legal cover to more aggressively serve the cult. This is an opportunity for them, and Trump/Noem will easily control them to cross legal/ethical lines more than others

Unless they are sleeper agents, I can't imagine how it's possible someone who went to the Ellipse and then milled around the Capitol lawn for an hour has a special sauce.

Their special sauce is they’re true cult believers unlike the average asshole ICE agent. These guys will be key to turning ICE into an even worse organization —like when Trump orders them to detain citizens on a large scale.

The average ICE agent is already a hardcore Trumper, just like the J6ers.

It’s wild that even after Ferguson, George Floyd and J6th that liberals still have this magical belief that the people who join law enforcement like ICE are good people.. only turned evil by Trump.
