On Friday August 22, DSS, MPD, and FBI pulled up on a man allegedly smoking a small amount of marijuana on the sidewalk and arrested him. The arrest took place in the U Street corridor at U and 10 NW in Washington DC, around 11:45 pm.

Marijuana use is legal...in private. It's illegal to smoke in public spaces, vehicles on the public road, and places like restaurants and bars. DC marijuana laws are actually very strange.
