Pretty sure I "met" him online in 2008. I liked the Libertarian antiwar stance but I halted my exploration of their ideas when I read their seasteading ideas. The old mises[.org message board had a "Lets Seastead" thread and I have never encountered anyone so ignorant about everything...

I worked with SCADA systems. The seasteaders had no water and sewage plan other than "collect rainwater" and "poop in the ocean" and their only financial plan was "Gambling and precious metals" I told them they would be fighting over potable urine and dead seagulls in a week
