Thank you for this! The steroids have made him ravenous and it shows (though I assume some is bloating) but he’s calm, appreciative, & cooperative (definite personality change!) and doesn’t complain about a thing. His diet is unrestricted and he gets true pleasure from food so that’s a big relief.
You reminded me of something that someone said (I don’t know who). It was essentially, “You can’t‘wellness’ your way out of cancer” and I wholeheartedly agree. As you said, keep him happy and as content as possible. Ty 💖
There are options on steroids. Ask if there are others he can try. A change in the type helped with the symptoms enormously. Also, seizure meds can cause that. Kepra is a bad for causing ‘keprage’. If he is on it ask about that too. Feel free to DM anytime with questions,anytime. 💙
Thank you so much. I was told that the steroids would be adjusted, but I’m not sure which and how. The only small mercy, now, is that they seem to be keeping him calm and cooperative. I can’t always tell how he’s really feeling, but he’s become incredibly agreeable.

My wife died 6 years ago from colon cancer. 6 weeks later, I read about a trial that could have saved her. mRNA vaccine. I felt it all over again. They want to work us until we can’t, then kill us off as soon as possible while they get to shop for their cures and treatments like it’s a trip to CVS.
