I am not First Nations but have People that are Dear to Me that are. They hate being called the I word. They also hate the Sport Logos that Belittle Them just as much! I stand for and with Them as a Proud Ally ashamed of how They were treated in the past.
Like I said, it is not specific to one council or tribe or person. Check out Tiokasin Ghosthorse's station, not long ago he had Native Tribal Chief who shared his thoughts on this topic.
In Canada it is VERY specific! We say “First Nations” the I word is a slur when White People say it. To be truthful I really don’t give AF what You Americans say or do these days!❤️🇨🇦😿🇺🇸
