1)There are definitely multiple accounts & evidence for Socrates. 2)Even if he didn’t exist & his quotes & thoughts are misappropriated-it ultimately makes no difference, maybe it was a guy called Sam, or woman called Sarah, or multiple peoples work & ideas missatributed to a made up character… 1/3
2/3 ..it still doesn’t really make any difference to the body of “Socrates” work. People can still take useful things from it. HOWEVER, it ABSOLUTELY matters if Christ wasn’t real, or was made up, misattributed, or a collection of other peoples work simply because the claim is that he is GOD! …
3/3… Millions of people dictate their lives PURELY on the beliefs that Jesus was not only real but also that they HAVE to follow his teachings or risk going to ‘Hell’. These followers in turn shape & dictate the lives of Billions of others. This is a massively important difference between the two.
