The most fucked up part is America does have rich cultures. But in order to discuss those cultures, you have to address the elephant in the room, which these people refuse to. Like... gullah culture sticks out to me as something uniquely and beautifully American.
The tradition of "making do" out of your circumstances. They tried to take the "pagan" religions from the Africans and in response, they encodified it in Christian language. And now they're taking the lands they relegated us to and building fucking golf courses while complaining about no culture.
