Im sponsoring a Ukrainian teenager on that program. Since living with me she’s learned to drive and got her license, learned to be a phlebotomist and is working at a hospital and will start college in two weeks. She’s applied for asylum and the SUIJ visa. I’m not letting her go without a fight.

I have 9 friends in the U4U program. I didn't sponsor any of them, but I tutor them in conversational English. Already three of them have left the U. S. Cruelty is not a strong enough word. Their homes have all been bombed. There is nothing left to go home to. And they have pre-school children.
