On August 30, Ukrainian drones struck Simferopol Airport in occupied Crimea, destroying two Russian helicopters—a Mi-8 transport and a Mi-24 attack. Around 06:30, Russian monitoring channels tracked UAVs heading toward the airport, and soon after, residents reported smoke rising from the area.
