We come in all shapes, sizes, levels of color and yes, levels of racism and stupidity. We are capable of voting against our own interests just like any other voting bloc. Why are we held to a higher standard? Good and bad people come in all colors. My people are the good people.

As a Latina, I hold us to a higher standard I don't want us to be known as stupid, I want us to be known for good traits like love of family, community, taking care of each other as we do That's what we should be showing the world

I bet you have a lot of those good traits! We are like everyone else and don’t have to be perfect to be respected. I understand your sentiment. When a Latino revs his truck and leaves black smoke on my face while protesting, I wonder what in him makes him do that—more so than with anyone else.
