Well, I won't consider that informed consent yet! It's when you ask a bot like @skyview.social to make a webpage that combines all the posts in a thread and shares a link to it. The reason not to do it, is that that a third party (the bot) is creating a page ... maybe they put ads on it, etc.

I used to do it without thinking, but someone, somewhere posted that it's best practice not to do so, because the original thread writer might not want their stuff on another page like that. Besides the ads, I guess it's just the principle of the thing, or like you can decide to delete your
