Baring an 11th hour miracle I really don’t think enough has been made about #Canucks management allowing a guy that’s averaged 30 goals per season to walk out of the organization for nothing. Top of the list of bad moves by this group.

If you mean Boeser, he's averaged 22 (leaving out his first 9 game stint). Only hit 30 once. They obvs tried to trade him and probably think they can make better long term use of the cap space. I love Boeser, but don't disagree with the rationale.
Yet another one with ownership written all over it.
It is becoming more common, look at Marner, look at Tchachuk.
Both were traded for assets, and lots of them in the case of Tkachuk
Pretty impressive research on my end 😂
Hahah happy to help
And what return was there for the tamper deal for marner?
They traded his rights for Nic Roy then signed him. No tampering and they got 8 years vs 7
I thought kachuck walked
Felt like it but they traded him once they knew he wouldn't sign. Got Huberdeau, Weegar and and first.
And this is surprising to you why?
Demko got it right.
I don't believe any team is really offering 8 times 8 for a guy who couldn't fetch a 2nd round pick at the trade deadline. Brock's agent is making things up. Brock did nothing after Miller was traded. He was a big minus on Miller and Petey's line and was not a PP star either.
We got the miracle, and at a great cap hit. Don’t love the term but something had to give.
Trade at the deadline was needed
He probably would have been more open to a discount if they didn’t alienate him for two straight seasons.
Plus he drinks too much milk.
Not worthy of a contract after a 40G season, then they are surprised they weren't offered a 1st for BB. They have done more to talk down and devalue their own players than any other organization around, then are surprised when they aren't loyal. Yet they cant stop talking about wonderful JT was
100%
I love Brock but his skating has never been great and will only get worse. Also people seem to forget he was a club worse -25 last season. Plus/Minus not a great stat but does that speak to his skating and back checking?
Yep. Not moving him at the deadline was purely incompetent
Bad mouthed him to boot. Then gave up assets trading for the odious Evander Kane.
