The NHL must have the most boring off season of the big 4 sports. Was the last trade the Joshua one to TO? Has there even been double digit trades this off season? Half the league misses the playoffs but execs are petrified of making any deals outside of middle 6 fwrds/depth D.
August has been an absolute dead zone. Matt and Blake went down to 4 shows a week and couldn't sustain that given the lack of action, so they went to 2 shows during the last week. We need some legit NHL news!
MLB's is REALLY bad and has been for quite a while. NHL activity this past off-season was really bad but, typically, there's a lot more between the end of the regular season and a few days after free agency starts. MLB's off-season is just a slog.
